User Data Deletion Callback / Instructions

DIVS Sentinel utilizes the WhatsApp Business API and optional Facebook integrations to send security verification messages and notifications. In compliance with Meta Platform policies, we provide this guide to explain how you can request the deletion of your personal data associated with our app.

Method 1: Direct Request (Recommended)

You can request the deletion of your phone number, account information, and complete WhatsApp messaging history from our active databases by emailing us directly. We will process your request within 24–48 hours.

Method 2: Remove App via Facebook Settings

If you have linked your Facebook or Meta Business Profile with the DIVS Sentinel app, you can revoke permissions and delete data by following these steps:

  1. Go to your Facebook Profile's Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. On the left sidebar menu, scroll down and click on Apps and Websites.
  3. Find DIVS Sentinel in the list of active applications.
  4. Click the Remove button next to the app name.
  5. Confirm by checking the box to delete all app activities and history, then click Remove.

Data Retention Safeguards

Upon receiving a deletion request, we immediately mark the target record as inactive. During our database cycle (typically completed within 7 days), all logs, associated hardware snapshots, and phone numbers are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
